A community money coaching program for those who want to thrive financially and break generational cycles.

Culturally Rich Collective

You’re craving financial peace.

You’re not sure why you can’t save more, pay off your debt, or stick to your budget and feel pressure to have it all together financially as a first-generation daughter who wasn’t taught financial literacy nor had money mentors to guide you.

There’s a lack of resources that truly reflect your cultural values and experiences related to money, making it hard to find the support you need.

Until now, there have been no safe and supportive spaces to share your experiences and improve your finances through a culturally aware lens.

This community program is designed to help you do that, you’re no longer alone.

but navigating your finances can feel overwhelming as a daughter of immigrants trying to uphold cultural and gender expectations.

Your relationship with money feels hard, and you’re struggling to ask for help because we’re taught not to admit our money challenges out loud

  • 5 two-hour group virtual sessions (facilitated by Parween) over the two months to explore nuanced financial narratives and strategies to improve your financial well-being
  • Live lectures with Parween, community discussions, and peer support

  2. How to balance prioritizing your savings between short-term goals (i.e. your emergency fund, travel) to medium-term goals (i.e. saving for your wedding, down payment or other lifestyle changes)

Kaustuvi paid off $1900 of debt + saved $5000

"Parween's the real deal"

"Parween is not only genuine but also incredibly supportive - she made me feel safe talking about my financial struggles.

Her cultural sensitivity, recognizing my family responsibilities, was invaluable. I now have a clear plan to achieve my financial goals without sacrificing my well-being.

Thanks to her, I've managed to save $5,000 and pay off $1900 of debt. Even after a recent trip to New York, I remain debt-free.

Parween has taught me that improving my financial situation doesn't mean deprivation but, rather, making mindful spending choices.

I wholeheartedly recommend Parween to anyone seeking not only financial guidance but also personal growth. She's the real deal." ~ Kaustuvi

Sharan saved $12,500

"I've never felt this happy about my finances!"

"I was able to save up over $12,000 for various things- moving out, travel, emergency etc. I've never felt this happy about my finances! This program helped me learn how to reflect on my emotions and figure out the root causes of my spending.

Parween considers the psychological and physiological impacts of spending money, going into debt and investing. She also understands how childhood trauma and experiences can shape the relationship we have with money as adults.

It's not always about 'just stop spending and focus on saving,' it was about answering the why. Why is it so hard for me stop spending? Why do I get anxious about credit card bills? This program helped address so many of my root causes. " ~Sharon

why representation matters

Chan. paid off $14,000 of credit card debt!

"I have financial peace & calmness"

"The most amazing result for me was just having financial peace and calmness - knowing that I had savings for any occurrences in my life was comforting. The plan to have my debt paid off in a certain time frame was amazing (update: she's paid off $14,000 of debt!)

I've saved $6200 and multiple savings buckets (which I did not think was possible).

I loved working with Parween, she's personable and flexible which was so helpful as a nurse with an inconsistent work schedule. Her guidance and support are exactly what I needed shortly after beginning my career." ~Chan

I even have money set aside to support my family if they ever need it.

Beyond the financial progress, Parween’s approach made me feel comfortable and understood. Being part of a community that recognizes the cultural aspects of money management has been invaluable.

She puts so much care into helping others and you can tell by the quality and quantity of value you get from the lessons.

Parween, thank you so much for everything. Through you, I was able to work on my traumas and my anxiety that came with money. I’ve learnt to build trust in myself and my decision making. You’ve helped build me a solid foundation and I am so grateful as I am growing to become a woman who is confident in herself and her future. I cannot wait to continue to share my wins!"

Your new money coach.

Wassup, I'm parween

I understand what it’s like to grow up in an environment where talking about money was as shameful as having a secret boyfriend.

I wish I had a money mentor who could relate my experience of being a first/second generation daughter and how that impacted my ability to save, pay off debt and invest.

So - I became that money mentor.

By the age of 30 I've:
  • Saved $100,000 twice (once at 26, and again by 28)
  • Paid $40,000 in cash for my Indian wedding
  • Contributed $100,000 to the down payment on our home
  • Invested $100,000 between my TFSA and RRSP

And I want to help YOU grow your bank account too.
